What the heck is going on?
For those of you just becoming Tour cycling fans, or still trying to figure out the green jersey from the polka-dot, here's a good online explanation of the Tour de France for you. [Thanks for the link, Jeanne!] Here is my own brief explanation from last year.
The actual Tour de France rules in English can also be downloaded in a PDF document here, and aren't too difficult to wade through.
